Hey. I have original Daikatana, english version and it is my really beloved game, some
years ago I finished Daikatana two times but I'd like to play it again now but I have problem.
When I insert the CD, autorun starts, I select install but than nothing happends... I thought it could be due to old CD (however CD seems to be ok) so I tried to download and install some pirate version from the internet but the problem was the same, installation was not going to start. So if anybody knows what's the problem then please talk.
I have win xp, previously under 98 it was running without problems.

There's a menu option for it.  At the main menu go to Options and tick "Unlimited Saves."

If you want to play without the sidekicks (which I would recommend for a first timer) start a coop server by going to Multiplayer -> Start a Multiplayer Game -> Change Deathmatch to Cooperative -> and Select your Skill Level.

You can always join on the coop server too and I see ya around I'll change the maps to the start and we can plow through 'em.  If you got AIM or ICQ let me know!

Also, have in mind that you can't save on moving platforms. It is annoying at one place though.
