Hey everyone,
just thought I'd inform fellow CT fans of some basic modding information, in hopes of sparking a cool mod from someone at this community (or, if anyone's willing, perhaps a team could be started-- let me know if you're interested).

What you'll need:

1. a ROM of Chrono Trigger (SNES version)-- I can't link to a specific file, but it should be easy enough to find.

2. Temporal Flux, probably the best editor available.. quite powerful.

There are some mods in progress by other communities.  Check this out: screenshots of "Chrono Crisis": Arris Academy Infirmary - Arris Academy Classroom - Arris Academy Bookstore - Arris Academy Toystore

I have added a link to Temporal Flux.  The program is kinda slow when placing tiles but all in all it's not bad.  The next version, I've been told, 2.0, will be much better for placing tiles and stuff.

The screenshots I posted of Chrono Crisis in my first post here, I should mention, are not of a mod.  The game is actually an RM2k (RPG Maker 2000 or 2003 not sure) game .  There are some other mods on www.chronocompendium.com though I think.. none complete yet just in progress.

I'm both happy and sad so see so many endeavors to recreate the glory of Chrono Trigger... happy because I absolutely love the game, and sad because of this (although it's old news now): http://www.opcoder.com/projects/chrono/

However, I'm also slightly happy about it, because it hopefully means that Squeenix is planning on doing something with that license. Altough.. just LOOK at that trailer. wow.
