Yup August 05 is gonna be Chrono Trigger 10th Anniversary, but you forgot to mention that it's also gonna be John Carmack's 35th Birthday.

The Playstation version is called Final Fantasy Chronicles, BTW. It includes Final Fantasy IV, which is an awesome game. 8)

Here's the official Chrono Trigger website.

Yep, i had both Chrono & Magus on my team. ;)

Yeah - i love the 3 new songs on the PSX version!  All original Mitsuda songs too.

I don't remember, but wasn't it part of the story that Magus joins your team?  Now, the having Chrono part ... yeah, I remember having to go out of my way to...

I remember first playing Chrono Trigger a while back; I got hooked but never finished it.  I thought that the part of the game in which you are basically told to do about 9 tasks before the final boss was poorly inserted and left you at a really loose end.  Furthermore, I had played Secret of Mana and Secret of Evermore, and was getting a bit tired of the goofy-haired main character.  Lastly, Marle (heroine) really annoyed me from beginning to end; she was always too happy and I felt the romance element was forced.

Chrono Cross on the other hand is my all-time favorite game.  I simply loved the characters (especially Serge and Kid), and the storyline was extremely powerful and well-implemented.

Both games have amazing soundtracks also.

Magus is a hidden character in the game. I don't want to spoil everything... but on the SNES version you could only get Magus if Chrono wasn't in your team.

There were a lot of hidden things in the game including...uh... LOTS of endings. I forgot how many. :)

Chrono Cross rocks, too! 8)

Some of the ending videos (like the one that ties CT into Chrono Cross) are only available on the Playstation version.

Really? :o I didn't know about that one.

I downloaded a Chrono Trigger strategy guide from Square-Enix.com that was done in Flash. It's pretty cool. I don't think it's there anymore, though.

I'll have to play that game again, now. :)

I have the original ChronoTrigger strategy guide. It's in pretty good condition too.

I'm not a big RPG fan or Square fan, but Chrono Trigger is not just good,  it's damn good.

I believe my winning party consisted of Crono, Magus, and Marle.

Yeah, that was my party for my first play through the game ... Luminaire and Dark Matter kick ass!  Also, Chrono + Ayla techs kick ass for the boss.

I get logged out immediately after I log in on other computers (at school) too.. but never at home (probably because I have cookies saved to auto-login).
