The end map of E2 is E2M6, cos E2M7 is the secret stage.

So I guess I was right by accident and on purpose at the same time. Now thats clever.

You should spank Tom.

He admitted he was responsible for telefragging in DooM, because he fought to keep/get (don't remember precisely) teleporters in.

Hmm.  I *could* be wrong there - but I'm pretty sure I named it "telefragging".  Geez - I swear I remember coming up with the idea.  I'm sure Tom pushed to put teleporters in, but I think I decided to hold the player there for a second so another player could telefrag you..... which sounds correct to me since Tom wasn't around for multiplayer mode.

well, telefragging can happen even without that...there's no delay on q3 teleporters, but telefrags can happen, you just have to be standing on a teleport point by bad luck when someone else teleports through. so as soon as you put teleporters in you have the problem of what should happen when someone teleports to an already-occupied spot to deal with, the delay just makes it more likely to occur...

Underearth I think was a secret level (from the Ogre Citadel, if I'm not wrong). Dismal Oubliette was the last level in E2. It'd be great if someone could make a single map release of the complete Dismal Oubliette with appropriate weapons included (I'm sure Romero wouldn't mind, but would it infringe on id's copyright on the latter part of the level which was in the released QUake verson?)

btw, a question I've always wanted to ask - Who came up with all the level names in doom and quake?

You get to The Underearth from The Crypt Of Decay (e2m3), not the Ogre Citadel which is e2m2
